
Fan Fest set for August 23 at Saluki Stadium

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The sixth annual Saluki Fan Fest is a perfect event for the entire family and gives Saluki fans the opportunity to visit Saluki Stadium, walk on the field and interact with the 2016 Saluki football and volleyball teams. The Fan Fest will take place on Tuesday, August 23, at Saluki Stadium, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

This event is free for all fans, and Prairie Farms will be serving free ice cream to all fans while supplies last.

Saluki players, coaches, cheerleaders, shakers and mascots will be on hand greeting fans for a host of activities for the whole family. Below are the highlights of the event:

- Saluki Shakers, cheerleaders and mascots Grey Dawg and Brown Dawg will be there
- Saluki football players leading drills in throwing, catching and kicking as well as a special football obstacle course
- Dress Like a Saluki photo opportunities
- New Under Armour apparel display including jerseys, shoes, gloves and helmets
- In-stadium music
- Saluki Football Tag Day - Fans have the opportunity to purchase 2016 season tickets
