Saluki Football signing day reception set for Feb. 7

The Southern Illinois football program will hold a reception on National Signing Day (Wednesday, February 7) at 5:30 p.m. in the Stadium Club of Saluki Stadium. Head coach Nick Hill and the 2018 coaching staff will be in attendance to meet fans and talk about the newest members of the Saluki football family.Â
SIU announced 16 signees on December 20 during the early signing period and also announced six mid-year transfers on January 16. The program will announce its newest signees throughout the day on Wednesday through social media on Twitter (@SIU_Football) and Facebook (/SalukiFootball).Â
The public reception will be held in the Stadium Club on the second level of Saluki Stadium. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and head coach Nick Hill will give remarks on the entire signing class at approximately 5:30. Appetizers will be provided and a cash bar will be available. Fans will be able to reserve season tickets on site.
