INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Southern Illinois thrower Brittany Riley picked up a ninth-place finish at the 2006 AT&T USA Track and Field Championships over the weekend.
Riley threw 210-09 in the women's hammer to earn her ninth-place finish. The two-time All-American was one of three collegiate athletes to finish in the top ten in the event at the IU Michael A. Carroll Track and Soccer Stadium on the campus of IUPUI.
The sophomore, the only Saluki athlete to compete at the championships, holds the SIU and Missouri Valley Conference record in the hammer throw at 216-09.
