Saluki Athletics welcomes ESPN Gameday on Saturday

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Saluki Athletics is proud to welcome ESPN College Gameday to Carbondale on Saturday for a live broadcast from the floor of SIU Arena from 10-11 a.m.
The show features interviews, analysis, demonstrations and "picks" by Gameday talent Rece Davis, Jay Bilas, Hubert Davis and Digger Phelps.
All Saluki fans are invited to attend. Admission is free, so come early to get the best seats. Fans will serve as a backdrop for the show and are encouraged to bring Saluki signs.
Activities and contests will start at 9 a.m. Prizes include a trip for two to the State Farm MVC Championship. One lucky person will be selected to shoot a half-court shot for $7,500, courtesy of State Farm, during the show. Approximately 2,000 roll-banners will be distributed at the door by State Farm.
SportsCenter will "break-in" for live looks at SIU Arena several times between 9-10 a.m., so please arrive early.
This will be the first time ESPN Gameday has been to a school that is not part of the "big six" conferences.
The actual game will tip off at 8 p.m. CT. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the Dawg Pound and 7 p.m. for the general public
ESPN2 will televise the game with Dan Shulman, Jay Bilas and Erin Andrews (sideline) the broadcast talent for the contest.
