Women's Basketball Heads to Knoxville for Season Opener with Tennessee

The Southern Illinois Salukis open their 63rd season of competition on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 6 p.m. when they visit the Tennessee Lady Volunteers. Ninth-year head coach Cindy Stein enters her final season with all five of last season's starters returning, as well as 89% of last season's scoring returning.

All-Time vs. Tennessee
• This marks just the third time that the Lady Vols and the Salukis have met and the first time since 1989.Â

• This is the first time Cindy Stein is facing Tennessee in her career.

• The Salukis own a 24-36 all-time record in season openers dating back to the 1961-62 season.Â
