CARBONDALE, Ill. - Dana Olsen has decided to leave the Southern Illinois University women's basketball team to pursue other opportunities closer to home.

Olsen, who started 24 games as a true freshman, averaged 8.4 points and 3.7 rebounds earning Missouri Valley Conference All-Freshman team honors for the Salukis.

"I appreciate her contibution to our program and wish her the best," said Saluki head coach Dana Eikenberg.
