Olivia Patterson leaves Women's Basketball team

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Southern Illinois women's basketball coach Missy Tiber announced today that freshman point guard Olivia Patterson has left the team for personal reasons.
Patterson, who is a native of Cibolo, Texas, will return home to be with her family, which now resides in Kansas.
Patterson played in each of SIU's first eight games, making one start at point guard. She averaged 0.8 points and 1.8 rebounds per game in addition to recording six total assists and nine steals.
