CARBONDALE, Ill. -- SIU women's basketball head coach Cindy Stein announced Thursday that freshman guard Micah Norris has transferred from the University.
Norris, a native of Murfreesboro, Tenn., played in six of Southern's 10 games this season -- in which she totaled four points, four rebounds and five steals.
"We are disappointed that Micah has decided to not return to SIU," said SIU head coach Cindy Stein, "but we wish her well."
The Saluki women's team is currently in the middle of a 10-day holiday break, but SIU's 6-4 squad will return to the court on Dec. 30 at Morehead State to close out the non-conference season.
