Hawgs & Dawgs set to return Nov. 10 vs. South Dakota State

CARBONDALE, Ill. — Saluki Athletics has partnered with Black Diamond Harley-Davidson to host Hawgs and Dawgs for the Nov. 10 football matchup versus South Dakota State. This will be the first Hawgs and Dawgs event at Saluki Stadium since 2011 and the ninth overall.
Motorcycle riders will depart from the Black Diamond Harley-Davidson in Marion and ride into Saluki Stadium, leading the Salukis on to the field prior to kickoff.
The game is set to kickoff at 1 p.m.
SIU Director of Athletics Jerry Kill helped initiate Hawgs and Dawgs during his tenure as head coach of the Saluki football program and played a key role in its return.
"It was the best event that we had during my era," said Kill. "We are bringing it back and it will be a lot of fun. It will be a huge event in southern Illinois and thanks to Shad and the boys for helping make this happen."
For $25, riders can participate in Hawgs and Dawgs, which also includes a game ticket, a food and beverage voucher, special motorcycle parking and a Saluki football /Black Diamond Harley-Davidson t-shirt.
