CARBONDALE, Ill. — Southern Illinois returns home on Saturday for a special 8 p.m. tip versus Conference USA foe Southern Miss.
The Salukis (4-3) are coming off a thrilling win on Wednesday night, as Marcus Domask hit a game-winning jumper with 0.6 seconds left to beat Evansville.
The game versus the Golden Eagles (4-4) is a rematch of a 2019 game in Hattiesburg that Southern Miss won by three points. Southern led by as many as 17 in that game.
SIU has won 10-straight home non-conference games, dating back to 2019. The Salukis are 11-1 overall in home non-conference games under head coach Bryan Mullins.
