Saluki Men’s Basketball set for second-annual “Saluki Bash” on Dec. 30

CARBONDALE, Ill. — Saluki Athletics is throwing not just one, but two parties at the Banterra Center this holiday season, and everyone's invited!

The Dec. 22 men's basketball match-up versus Southern Indiana is being billed as the "Blizzard of Egypt" with a special halftime Rockettes-style dance performance by the Saluki Spirit teams and artificial snow machines that will turn the arena into a winter wonderland.

The Dec. 30 game versus UIC will be the second-annual New Year's Saluki Bash, with another record-setting balloon drop at halftime and a festive atmosphere to ring in the new year.

Best of all, ticket prices are being slashed to make it affordable for everyone to attend. Starting at 7 a.m. today, a limited supply of $1 tickets to both games will be made available for purchase. When those are gone, new sales will be released on a daily basis. Promo codes will be activated at 7 a.m. CT each day, and will last until all are sold.
