CARBONDALE, Ill. — Under the leadership of head coach Geoff Hanson, the Southern Illinois University swimming & diving team has once again earned national recognition for the team's academic success.
The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has awarded the Southern Illinois men's and women's swimming and diving teams the Scholar All-America Award for their academic achievement in the fall.
In order to qualify for the award teams have to exhibit high grade markings, the Southern Illinois Women's team saw a GPA increase from Fall 2022 and Spring 2023.
