Twelve Salukis Named MVC Scholar-Athletes

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Missouri Valley Conference has announced its swim and dive scholar athletes, and 12 Salukis made the cut.

To qualify for the title, athletes must hold a 3.50 cumulative GPA and be at least a sophomore. Additionally, athletes had to compete in four meets this season or placed top eight in an individual event or top three in a relay event at the MVC Championships. Southern's MVC Scholar-Athletes are listed below:

-Willem Huggins (Sport Administration)
-Tomáš Peciar (Industrial Management and Applied Engineering)
-Rodrigo Ramos Chávez (Management)
-Carter Ruthven (University Studies)

Women
-Brooklyn Anderson (Architecture)
-Madalyn Booker (Management)
-Liseska Gallegos Gutierrezs (Human Nutrition and Dietetics)
-Susy Hernandez (Sport Administration)

-Sam Vega (Management)
