MVC Announces Women's Basketball Conference Schedule

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The MIssouri Valley Conference has announced the 2026-27 women's basketball conference schedule.
For the Salukis, the schedule begins with a trip to Iowa to face the Drake Bulldogs and Northern Iowa Panthers. The Salukis head to Des Moines for a meeting with the Bulldogs on December 20. They will head north to Cedar Falls and square off with the Panthers on December 22.
SIU opens the home slate with a match against conference rival Murray State after the holiday break on December 29. The Salukis then head to Evansville to play the Purple Aces on New Year's Eve.
To open 2027, the Salukis face the Illinois State Redbirds on Sunday, January 3 at Banterra Center. The Salukis travel to the music city to take on the Belmont Bruins on January 7. Two days later, Southern welcomes the Becaons of Valparaiso to Banterra Center on January 9. Then, they head up to Peoria to battle the Bradley Braves on January 14.
The Salukis return to Carbondale for a three-game home stand. The Salukis face the Indiana State Sycamores for the first time of the season on January 17, followed by Belmont on January 23 and Evansville on January 25.
Southern then heads north to face the Flames of UIC for the first time of the season on January 28 and wrap up the month of January in Bloomington, Illinois against the Illinois State Redbirds on January 31.
The Salukis return home for another three-game home stand. The Drake Bulldogs and Northern Iowa Panthers complete their part of the home-and-home against Southern on Febuary 5 and February 7, respectively. To wrap up the home stand, the Salukis face the Bradley Braves on Valentine's Day.
SIU then heads to Murray, Kentucky for another battle with the Races of Murray State on February 19. The Salukis will then return home on February 19 for a contest with the UIC Flames.
To wrap up the conference and regular season slate, the Salukis head to Terre Haute, Indiana on February 25 to face the Indiana State Sycamores. Finally, the Salukis square off with the Valparaiso Beacons in Valparaiso, Indiana on February 27.
The Missouri Valley Conference women's basketball tournament will take place March 3-7, 2027 in St. Louis, Missouri at the Enterprise Center.
The Missouri Valley Conference game times and television information will be announced at a later date.
