What is changing? All Saluki Football and Men’s Basketball season tickets will be distributed via mobile delivery within the updated version of the SIU Salukis Mobile App. There will be no physical ticket books for season-ticket holders.
What are the steps to access my mobile season tickets? - Verify that your online My Account is active. Go to SIUSalukis.com/MyAccount and log-in as a Returning Online Customer. If you have never used My Account before, you must first click Link Your Account and you will be asked to enter your Customer Number and Online Pin, which are located on the season-ticket invoice you received from the ticket office last June. If you do not know this information, call 618-453-2000 or email us at tickets@siu.edu and we'll help you Link Your Account. This step only needs to be done once!
- Once you confirm that your online My Account is active, download the free SIU Salukis Mobile App to your mobile device (or update your existing app to the current version).
- Within the SIU Salukis Mobile App, select the Ticket icon in the bottom right corner.
- Select “Manage Account” and log in.
- Once logged in, you will find all of your active tickets for the season. From there, you can download tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay or transfer the tickets to someone else.
When can I access my season tickets? Football season tickets will be loaded into the SIU Salukis Mobile App on Aug. 20. If you don’t see them, please call 618-453-2000. Men’s Basketball tickets will be loaded in October.
What if I don’t have or want to use a mobile device? Am I required to use mobile tickets? No, all accounts were asked over the phone or online when purchasing their season tickets which delivery method they preferred, please reach out to the ticket office if you need additional help accessing your tickets.
What if my guests are arriving at a different time or I need to transfer tickets to someone else? If arriving separately, you can transfer a ticket to each member of your party. Within the SIU Salukis Mobile App, select the ticket(s) you wish to transfer and enter the recipient’s cell phone number or email address. They will receive a text or email message instructing them to accept the tickets.
Is the SIU Salukis Mobile App the only way to download or transfer my mobile tickets? No. While the SIU Salukis Mobile App is the easiest and most seamless way to access your mobile tickets, you will also receive an email with links to download your mobile tickets to Apple Wallet or Google Pay. A secondary option for transferring tickets exists within My Account on the Athletics website (SIUSalukis.com/MyAccount). Simply log-in to your account and select Transfer.
What are the device requirements for mobile entry? Mobile tickets can only be used on devices with the Apple Wallet or Google Pay apps installed. Apple Wallet is supported on the iPhone 6 or higher and iOS 8.1 (and higher). Google Pay is supported on devices using Android 5.0 (and higher).
What if I don’t have internet connectivity when I enter the facility or otherwise need assistance on game day? We strongly recommend you download your tickets to Apple Wallet or Google Pay before arriving at the game. Once the tickets are downloaded, connectivity or Wi-Fi is not required to access your tickets. If you did not download your tickets in advance or need assistance in any way on football game day, come see us at one of the ticket windows located outside the stadium.
What if my phone battery dies on game day before entering the venue? Please go to a ticket window located outside of the stadium for assistance.
How will Stadium Club access work? Accounts with Stadium Club access will have that designation displayed on their mobile tickets. Please show your mobile ticket to the attendant and you will receive a wristband for Stadium Club access.
Why are we switching to mobile ticketing? Mobile ticketing offers ease and convenience, safer gate entry with contactless scanning, and the ability to instantly transfer tickets to friends and family. Real-time changes to dates and times are reflected immediately on digital tickets. Finally, eliminating the costs associated with physical ticket production allows us to redirect those funds to areas that positively impact our student-athlete experience.
What about Saluki Stadium Suites? There will be no mobile option for Saluki Stadium Suites this year. Suite tickets will be printed on traditional paper stock and delivered to suite holders, along with parking passes and a Suite manual, prior to the first game. Suite holders will need to show their ticket to the attendant before entering the press box elevator or Stadium Club.
What about parking passes? Parking passes were mailed out 2 weeks prior to the first home kickoff. |
