2016 (SENIOR)

Started all 11 games at guard ... Paved the way for SIU’s offense, which ranked second in the MVFC in both scoring and total offense ... SIU led the MVFC in passing offense and set SIU single-season records for passing completions, attempts and yardage ... Named to the MVFC Academic Honor Roll.

2015 (JUNIOR)

Played in 10 games and started five on the offensive line…Took over a starting role vs. Youngstown State and started every game the rest of the season…Member of offensive line that guided SIU to MVFC-leading statistics in total offense, passing offense, points per game and fewest sacks allowed…Earned a spot on the MVFC Academic Honor Roll.

PRIOR TO SIU

Spent three years at the University of Iowa...Redshirted in 2012 and did not see action in 2013 and 2014...In high school earned first team all-conference honors as a junior and senior...Selected to compete in Illinois Shrine Game and played both offense and defense in that game...Three-year letterman as offensive and defensive lineman and tight end, while also handling long snaps on special teams...Football captain as a senior...Also lettered in wrestling (four) and track (one)...Won state wrestling title (285 pounds) as a senior with 43-1 overall record.
