CJ Polkinghorn enters his first year at Southern Illinois University as the graduate assistant coach for the offensive line in 2026.Â
Polkinghorn spent 2025 at Henderson State University as the graduate assistant coach for the defensive line in 2025, primarily working with the Defensive Tackles. Polkinghorn then briefly worked coaching the tight ends before his arrival at Southern Illinois.Â
Polkinghorn served as an offensive student assistant at Division I Northern Iowa from 2022 to 2024. He later worked in the program as an offensive analyst and offensive line assistant.Â
In 2025, Polkinghorn graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in physical education teaching and a minor in coaching.
