The 6-foot-8 forward comes to SIU as the No. 58 ranked JUCO player in the nation … Averaged 11.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game last season with the Thunderbirds who finished 23-9 overall and advanced to the Region V semifinal game, falling in double overtime to Weatherford College … Started 32 games overall and scored in double-digits in 18 games, including all four postseason games for NMJC … Posted a season-high 30 points in a win over Ranger College, shooting 10-for-17 from the field … Recorded 95 offensive rebounds and recorded 27 blocks over the season, putting up six multi-block games … As a sophomore, Massey was named an NJCAA Rising Star and was a JA48 (JUCO Showcase) Participant.
