Swam in seven events in her rookie career... best finish was second place in 1000-free in dual against EIU on 1/28/22... five top-eight finishes.
PRIOR TO SIU
Ana Tanda transfers to the Salukis from Universidad Anahuac Queretaro, having already competed in her native Mexico at the national level. Tanda has represented Guanajuato in national competitions 14 times since 2012, and has competed in the Olimpiada Nacional Juvenil seven times since 2013. Tanda has finished in the Top-15 at nationals seven times in the 400, 800 and 1500 events.

Tanda plans on majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Ana's parents are Octavio Tanda and Laura Ocampo, born April 14, 2001.
