PRIOR TO SIU
An accomplished swimmer from Bekescsaba, Hungary, Csuvarszki took a unique route to SIU. Growing up, Csuvarszki trained for both swimming and water polo and went on to compete for Hungary's junior national team. At the 2019 Hungarian Junior National Championships, Csuvarszki finished sixth in the 50 free and added a 13th place finish in the 100 free. Csuvarszki comes from an athletic family, as his father was a professional handball player in Hungary's top league.
