2022-2023 (SOPHOMORE)

Swam in eight events… set a new personal record in the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.39) against Lindenwood and Little Rock… had fifteen top ten finishes across the season.

2021-2022 (FRESHMAN)

Competed in eight events during her freshman campaign... best finishes were third place in 400-IM and 500-free at the A3 Invitational and third place in 200-IM in dual with McKendree... eight top-eight finishes.

PRIOR TO SIU

A Louisville, Ky. native, Drew Penick comes to Carbondale having already been a Kentucky state champion in the 200 Medley Relay. Penick also a 2nd place finish in the 400 Freestyle, as well as Top-5 finishes in both the 500 Freestyle and 400 IM. Penick also charted seven Top-10 finished in the short course Kentucky State Championship meet.

Penick intends on majoring in Nursing. Drew's parents are Andy and Lisa Penick, born on March 20, 2003.
