- Set a new personal record in the 50 freestyle (26.27) at MVC Championships

2022-2023 (SOPHOMORE)

Swam in four events… had season best finishes at the MVC Championship in the 50-yard freestyle (25.63), 50-yard backstroke (29.75), 100-yard backstroke (1:01.34) and 200-yard backstroke (2:11.12).

2021-2022 (FRESHMAN)

Competed in three events in freshman season... best times were 2:14.03 in the 200-IM and 1:01.40 in 100-back at the A3 Invitational... best time in 200-back (2:11.66) was preliminaries at the 2022 MVC Championships.

PRIOR TO SIU

A Hilton Head Island, S.C. native, Mia Sinkiewicz is a Hilton Head Island High School record holder in five swimming events, as well as one track and field event. An ISCA Senior Cup and Senior Sectionals qualifier, Sinkiewicz also helped lead her high school team to runner-up finishes at the SCHSL 4A State meet in 2018, 2019 and 2020.

A Biology major in the pre-med track, Mia is the daughter of Dan and Marie Sinkiewicz, born on November 11, 2002.
