MVC Scholar-Athlete... owns part of 400-free relay school record... swam in five events... swam in 50-free for first time in college career... new new PR's in 100-, 200-, and 500-freestyle events... finished second in 100-free "C" final at 2022 MVC Championships... garnered first place of "C" final of the 200-free event... best finish was second place in 200-free at A3 Invitational... 16 top-eight finishes.

2020-2021 (FRESHMAN)

All-MVC Honorable Mention... Competed in five events... placed eighth in 200-free (1:54.59) at MVC Championships... best season finish was first place in 500-free (5:11.12 in tri-meet against Valparaiso and Eastern Illinois... nine top-five marks.

PRIOR TO SIU

A standout freestyler from Scottsdale, Ariz., Nicole Horton qualified for the state meet in each of her four seasons at Horizon High School. She burst onto the scene as a freshman, as she helped Horizon to a 13^th place finish in the 400 free relay and qualified individually in both the 50 free and 100 breast. The following season, Horton tallied four top-15 finishes at the state meet, which included a sixth-place finish in the 200 IM. As a junior, she helped Horizon reach the podium with a fourth-place showing in the 200-medley relay. In total, Horton was a 14-time state qualifier and finished in the top-10 six times.
