Swam in four events... swam in the 100-freestyle for first time in Saluki career... set new personal record in 50-free (21.48) and 200-fly (1:53.11)... best finish was fourth place in 100-fly in dual against EIU on 1/28/22... 10 top-eight finishes.

2020-2021 (FRESHMAN)

Competed in three events... best finishes were second place in 100-fly in meets against Evansville on 2/12/21 and Valparaiso on 3/12/21... six top-five marks.

PRIOR TO SIU

Spencer Hoffman comes to Carbondale by way of Friendswood, Texas. The Friendswood High School product had one of his best prep meets last December at the TWST Southern Senior Championships. Hoffman set a PR in the 200 fly with a time of 1:52.11. Last spring, he just missed out on qualifying for the 100 fly finals at the Champions Series in College Station, as he clocked a near personal-best of 50.22.
