Lucy Horn joins the women's soccer coaching staff as a graduate assistant starting in the spring of 2025.Â
Horn was a member of the Salukis' soccer team during the 2024 season where she started all 19 games SIU played in, logging a team-leading 1710 minutes of game time. Horn scored one goal and also had one assist as a defender, and was named to the Missouri Valley Conference All-Tournament Team. She was also a member of the 2024 MVC Scholar-Athlete First Team.Â
Prior to her time at SIU, Horn was a member of West Alabama's team, where she made 62 appearance and 61 starts. She was named to the Gulf South Conference All-Tournament Team in 2022 and the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team in 2023. Off the field, Horn was valedictorian for West Alabama's 2024 graduating class while receiving the University of West Alabama Scholars Award for Psychology.Â
A native of Penicuik Scotland, Horn played at Penicuik High School for three years and also suited up for the Heart of Midlothian Women.Â
