Finished second in the MVC in hitting percentage (.349) …led the team in hitting efficiency and finished second in kills (206) and blocks per set (0.75) … tallied five 10-plus kill performances including a season-high 14 in a four-set match against Arkansas State (8/29) … hit over .300 in more than half (15-of-29) of SIU’s matches during the 2017 season and hit better than .400 in 11 of those matches … recorded at least one block in 25 of SIU’s 29 matches, including 19 matches with at least two blocks … Finished a block shy of a double-double against SEMO (9/12), as she totaled 10 kills and nine total blocks.
2016
Finished 35th in the nation, and fourth in the Missouri Valley Conference, with a .369 hitting percentage…Ended the season second on the team in hitting percentage, second in blocks, and third in kills...Averaged 1.94 kills and 0.88 blocks per set...Reached double-digit kills in seven matches, including a season-high 16 kills in SIU's win over Youngstown State...Also put down 16 kills in Southern's win at Evansville...Led the Salukis in kills three times this season…Recorded multiple blocks in 21 matches, including seven matches in which she blocked five or more attempts...Finished with a season-high nine blocks to go along with 11 kills in SIU's win at Drake.
Prior to SIU
Played outside hitter and middle blocker at South Alabama for two seasons...Averaged 1.48 kills and 0.41 blocks per set...Played 21 of South Alabama’s 28 matches as a sophomore, and started two.
High School
Helped her team to the Area 8 6A Championship title with 431 kills, 288 digs, 63 aces and 69 blocks as a senior...Named All-Gwinnett County and GVCA (Georgia Volleyball Coaches Association) All-Star.

Born September 27, 1993 in Atlanta, Ga., to Orestes and Margaret Meeks...Has two siblings...Older brother, Jodie Meeks, was an All-American basketball player at Kentucky and currently plays for the Orlando Magic, while her older sister, Brianna, was on the soccer and track and field teams at Cornell College...Majoring in communication studies.
