A lifelong resident of Southern Illinois, Cathy Perry joined Saluki Athletics as the department's chief financial officer in 2023.
Perry graduated from SIU in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the College of Business. She began her career in accounting as the controller for a local manufacturing company. In November of 2008, she joined the Southern Illinois Miners as the team's director of finance. During 13 seasons with the Miners, she served as assistant general manager and was named general manager in 2018.
Perry resides in Carterville with her husband, Jason. They have two daughters, Emily and Brianna, and son-in-law, Cole.Â
