Dominic Hoscher is in his fourth year as a communications associate and is the current sports information director for Southern Illinois' football and softball teams.

Hoscher has also spent time as the sports information director for women's basketball, soccer, and track and field at SIU.

In the summer of 2025, Hoscher took over the media duties of the Salukis' football team, handling interviews, written releases, and the social media platforms of the team. One summer prior, Hoscher did the same with the softball team and has spent two seasons with the program.

Hoscher started off as the soccer and track and field contact when he arrived at SIU in August of 2022. In January of 2023, he was shifted to women's basketball as well. Hoscher worked with women's basketball from 2023 to 2025.

Hoscher obtained his Master's Degree in communications in December of 2023 at Southern Illinois. Prior to SIU, Hoscher had spent his undergrad at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo. There, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in broadcast communications and a minor in journalism.
