Ryan Grieser joined the athletic communications and marketing department as a graduate assistant in January 2026. He currently works with Saluki Video Services, the live production arm of Saluki Athletics.

Prior to beginning his graduate assistantship, Grieser attended SIU for three and a half years and earned a degree in sports journalism with minors in marketing and digital media production. During his time in undergrad, Grieser worked for The Daily Egyptian as a sports writer for two years and worked for Saluki Video Services for three.

Grieser also completed summer internships with Saluki Athletics as well as the Thrillville Thrillbillies of the Prospect League, where he was a production assistant and was the primary director for Thrillbillies broadcasts.

Grieser is originally from Fisher, Illinois, and attended Fisher Jr./Sr. High School, where he was a member of the soccer and track programs.
