Basketball Tickets On-Sale, Renewals to go out Sept. 10

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois University-Carbondale athletic department released its basketball ticket prices and ticket packages Friday for the 2001-02 season.
The marquee game on the men's schedule is the Dec. 1 matchup with Indiana. The first, and best way to assure good seats for that game is to purchase a season ticket, on-sale now in the athletic ticket office. On October 8, several mini-packages will be available that also include the Indiana game. Single-game tickets for Indiana will only be available if the game is not sold out.
Approximately 2,000 tickets in the 10,000-seat arena will be reserved for SIUC students for the Indiana game. Students who attend the home opener against Belmont on Nov. 16, will get the first option to pick up student tickets. They will be allowed to bring their stamped ticket stub from the Belmont game to the ticket office for priority seating versus Indiana.
