ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Saluki junior forward Jermaine Dearman was named the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

The Indianapolis, Ind. native led the Salukis in scoring with 14 points in the win over Creighton. Against Indiana State, he recorded a career-high 18 rebounds and had his eighth double-double of the season.
