When I woke up this morning, my body was aching. My adrenaline was running so high last night, I didn't even realize the pain. I looked in the mirror and discovered a black eye on my already beat up right eye.
After breakfast, we watched some game film on Georgia. They looked pretty athletic, but beatable. If we play like last night, we can win. Then we had a quick walk-through and practice, which got some soreness out. After practice, we were again bombarded by the press. I went to a short press conference and then talked to many different radio, newspapers and TV stations. I again did a live interview on the radio. I've done so many lately, I couldn't even remember what station it was. I even had L.A. calling my room wanting to chat about the tourney.
After practice, I showered and laid in bed a while watching some other games. Then I went to Footlocker with my mom and brother. I bought an orange polo shirt and some basketball shorts. We then relaxed up in their room for a while.
At 7:00, we went to Harry Carey's restaurant, where I had the best steak of my life. I'll definitely go back there some day.
We then went back to watch some more game film on the Bulldogs. After watching SportsCenter with my family, I went back to my room to rest up for the biggest day of my life. A chance to reach another goal for the year if we win. I again visualized what I plan on doing in the game while laying in bed. I've got be aggressive offensively, but get everyone involved early. Rolan and JD need touches early in the game so the attention will be drawn to them, and we establish an inside game. I also need to be relaxed on my shot and keep it fluid.
I'm feeling pretty confident heading into this game. If we have everyone focused and playing with energy and brains, we can win.
