In the morning, I ate some Life cereal and headed to class. My Management 345 teacher is a big Saluki fan, so he wished me good luck and had the class cheering on the way out. It's nice to have everyone's support. When I got back home, I was locked out. We just had our locks changed, so I had to go to SunCom, where one of my roomates works, and get the key. I then packed my stuff, ate a Subway sandwich and headed to practice. The media wasn't around, and it was calm, which allowed us to have a good practice. We had a pretty good practice. I think we are pretty focused for UConn.
After practice, we showered and loaded the bus. We had a lot of fans sending us off, which was cool. We signed a few autographs, tooks some pictures and got some cookies. We had a police escort to the airport with fire trucks following us. There were quite a few people standing outside waving. A couple of girls were holding a "We Love Williams" poster, which was cool. It felt like it took forever to get to the airport, so I fell asleep. Once we got to the airport, there were more fans waiting, and they were all cheering when we walked through. On the plane, we got to sit first class again, and we had a delicious steak. We finally arrived at Syracuse. It took forever to get the bags unloaded and get to the hotel. I talked with my dad's boss, Roger Tedrick, and his wife, Sally. We discussed some Cardinal baseball. When we got to the hotel, we were a little disappointed. It wasn't real nice, but I guess it will do.
We then headed to Chili's and grabbed a quick bite to eat. It was about 12:30 by the time we got back, so we all went to our rooms. Me and Carney talked about how sweet it would be to get to the Final Four and how crazy Carbondale would get. We also discussed some girls and watched the Cosby Show. I was so exhausted by the time I closed my eyes, it didn't take long to fall asleep.
