Ticket Office To Take Requests For NCAA Tournament Tickets

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinios University athletic ticket office will begin taking requests Monday for tickets to the first and second round games of the NCAA Tournament.
The Salukis have not yet qualified for the Tournament, but could be selected as an at-large team when the brackets are announced Sunday night.
Each school in the tournament receives a maximum allotment of 450 tickets for the first and second round games. The ticket office will sell them next week, based upon a priority system, with highest donor levels and season ticket holders receiving the first opportunity to buy.
The price of tickets are $100, which includes both the first and second round games. There is a $10 handling charge. If the Salukis do not advance to the second round, $50 will be refunded.
Fifty tickets will be available for students via a lottery system, similar to the way concert tickets are sold. Students can pick up a lottery number from the ticket office on Monday during normal business hours. The lottery will be held on Tuesday at 9 a.m., and students must present a valid student ID to purchase their tickets.
