Track and Field Will Compete At Cardinal Challenge Saturday

Carbondale, Ill. - Southern Illinois Univeristy men's and women's track and field teams will compete at the Cardinal Challenge Saturday hosted by the University of Louisville.
Field events will begin at 10:30 a.m. EST with the women's hammer throw. Running events start at 1:00 p.m. EST with the men's 3000m steeplechase.
Along with the host school, SIU will be competing against Cincinnati, Eastern Kentucky, Marquette, and Western Kentucky. In the small field meet, only two competitors per team will be allowed to score.
