Baseball's Series-Opener at Evansville Rained Out

Evansville, Ind. - Southern Illinois University's series-opener at Evansville scheduled for tonight at 6 p.m., has been rained out. Instead, the four-game tilt will open with a 1 p.m., doubleheader Saturday. Both of those games will be nine-inning contests.

SIU and UE will conclude their series with a doubleheader Sunday. Start time for the twin bill, which begins with a seven-inning game, has not been determined at this time.
