CARBONDALE, Ill. - Business in the Southern Illinois University athletic ticket office was brisk on Wednesday, the day after the Salukis beat Creighton to improve their record to 23-2 and extend their winning streak to 15 games.
As of 5:30 p.m., less than 100 tickets were still available to the general public for Saturday's home finale against Bradley, and less than 900 student tickets still remain. Students may pick up a maximum of two tickets with two, valid student IDs. The ticket office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
If the game reaches a sellout, it would mark the third, consecutive sellout at SIU Arena. In its 41-year history, the arena has never been sold out for three straight games.
The #16-ranked Salukis are 16-0 in the Missouri Valley Conference this season.
