Athletics Ticket Office Announces NCAA Tournament Distribution Plan

The Saluki athletics ticket office announced its distribution policy Wednesday for the 2004 Men's Basketball NCAA Tournament, which begins next week with first round games on either March 18 or 19.

Each participating school receives 400 tickets to sell for its games. Southern Illinois University tickets will be offered for sale to Saluki Athletic Scholarship Fund (SASF) members first, followed by basketball season ticket holders. If any tickets remain, they will be made available to the general public. A limited number of tickets will be held for SIU students and will be distributed early next week.

NCAA Tournament ticket applications were mailed to season ticket holders on Monday, March 8, and should be returned as soon as possible.

A ticket application for the general public will be posted on www.SIUSalukis.com on Sunday evening after the selection show.
