Baseball's Series Opener Against UW-Milwaukee Postponed

CARBONDALE, Ill.-Southern Illinois and Wisconsin Milwaukee's series-opener, which was initially scheduled for 3 p.m., today, has been postponed due to inclement weather. The Salukis and Panthers will now play a noon doubleheader Saturday, before concluding their series with a 1 p.m., game on Sunday.

Tomorrow's doubleheader will consist of two nine-inning games. Seniors Nick Baughman, Greg Andrews, Nathan Boldt, Josh Markle, Tyler Schooley, Josh Joiner, Marshall Tucker, Cory Newman and Jerel Deitering will be honored in between games of the twin bill. The nine seniors play their final three home games at SIU this weekend.
