Men's Basketball to hold fund-raising dinners

The Saluki men's basketball program will host a pair of fund-raising dinners on Nov. 8 and 9.

On Tuesday, Nov. 8, the Salukis will be in Springfield, Ill. at the K of C Hall on Meadowbrook Road from 5-8 p.m. Tickets are $25 and include dinner, soft drinks and beer. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by contacting Paul Povse (217-793-2173, paul.povse@insightbb.com), Mick Haslett (217-529-5069, mixhouse2@aol.com) or the Saluki basketball office (618-453-4667).

On Wednesday, Nov. 9, the Salukis will hold their annual Tip-Off dinner at Giant City Lodge. Cocktails begin at 6:30 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. The cost is $600 per couple and includes dinner and a special gift from Saluki Basketball. The guest speaker will be Stephen Bardo. RSVP to the basketball office.

All proceeds directly benefit Saluki basketball. Checks should be made payable to SIU Foundation-Men's Basketball.
