Darren Brooks Named All-District By NABC

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Southern Illinois University senior guard Darren Brooks was named second-team all-district by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

The defending player-of-the-year and defensive player-of-the-year in the Missouri Valley Conference, Brooks was the league's only representative on the NABC's list of 150 athletes. He is now eligible for All-American consideration at the end of the season.

Brooks leads the Salukis (22-6) in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals this season.
