Men's Basketball Ranked #25 in Coaches Poll

The Southern Illinois University men's basketball team entered the USAToday/ESPN Coaches Poll Top 25 on Monday, making their season debut at #25.

The Salukis (24-6), who are riding a seven-game winning streak, are no stranger to national rankings. Last year, they were ranked for six, consecutive weeks in both the Coaches and Associated Press polls. On March 1, 2004, SIU was ranked #15 in both polls, marking the highest ranking in school history.

Prior to last year, the Salukis were also ranked during the 1976-77 and 2001-02 seasons.
