Most of our day today was spent resting in our rooms. This was a well needed day off for our team. We woke up today at 9:00am to eat breakfast. After that, we had practice at 3:00 pm. Most of us used this time to try and catch up on sleep and rest from the hectic few days we have been through.
Practice was spent shooting and going over OSU's plays and players. We were only- allowed an hour and thirty minutes in the Ford Center, so the time there was very valuable. We will have film and scouting reports to review tonight at 9:30 pm.
The team knows that all the games from here on will take a near-perfect performance on our part in order to win and advance deeper into the tournament. Tomorrow will be a great test for our team. It will indeed show just where we stand in the nation.
A win here will for sure show the critics and the rest of the nation that we belong among the nation's elite teams.. It will be a hard fought game by both sides I'm sure. We are approaching this game knowing that we have no pressure on us, and all we need to do is come out, play our defense and play hard.
We know we are just as good, if not better. A win here will not be seen as an upset of a lesser team over a greater team, but rather a game to open the eyes of all those who have kept them shut and closed from a great team and program for so long.
