Saturday's National Invitational Softball Tournament games delayed

SUNNYVALE, Calif. - After canceling Friday's games in the National Invitational Softball Tournament, rain and thunderstorms continued overnight, forcing the tournament committee to delay Saturday's games because of field conditions.
The Southern Illinois University softball team was scheduled to play #10/11 Arizona State and UC Davis as 12 p.m. CT and 2 p.m. CT, respectively.
Following this morning's announcement, SIU will now play ASU at 5 p.m. CT and UC Davis at 7 p.m. CT.
Because of the lack of Internet availability at the Twin Creeks Sports Complex, LiveStats will not be available. Box scores and recaps will be posted as soon as possible following the games.
