Baseball hosts Fish Fry and Memorabilia Auction Friday

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The 10th Annual Southern Illinois University Baseball Fish Fry and Memorabilia Auction is Friday at the Carbondale Civic Center. The event runs from 5-8 p.m., with the memorabilia auction beginning at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children under 12. Dinner includes all you can eat fish, potato salad, coleslaw, bread, soft drinks and delicious homemade desserts. Carryouts are available and all proceeds will benefit Saluki Baseball.
This year's memorabilia auction features numerous Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals tickets at both Wrigley Field and the new state-of-the-art Busch Stadium. Autographed baseballs, bats, pictures and jerseys by the likes of Nolan Ryan, Jim Palmer, Ichiro Suzuki, Mark Pryor, Steve Carlton, Chipper Jones and Jim Thome will be auctioned off, as well.
