Kelly Gerlach named MVC Golfer of the Week

Junior Kelly Gerlach was named Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, announced today by the league office.
Gerlach, a native of Sparta, Ill., shot a 70-72-75 to finish second at the Unlimited Potential/Myrtle Beach Classic in Myrtle Beach, S.C., leading the Salukis (892) to a second-place finish in the 16-team tournament, just two strokes behind tournament host and champion College of Charleston.
Gerlach, who has received the award once before, is leading the MVC with a 72.333 average through three rounds of golf this fall.
