SIU students encouraged to become members of Dawg Pound

CARBONDALE, Ill. - With the new policy in place that allows Dawg Pound members to pick-up men's basketball tickets before the rest of the student body, SIU students are strongly encouraged to join the club and enjoy its many benefits.
For $10, Dawg Pound members receive a maroon Dawg Pound T-shirt sponsored by 710 Bookstore. Members will also be eligible for two drawings for $500 of free books. Also, when any Pound member sells their books back to 710 Bookstore after each semester this year, they will receive an extra $10. Of course, the best benefit of membership is the opportunity to claim tickets early and guarantee access to games.
The Dawg Pound has grown from 420 members last year to 705 members so far this season.
Students can sign up for a membership in Lingle Hall Room 118 during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.).
