Randal Falker named State Farm/MVC Player of the Week

Saluki forward Randal Falker was named State Farm/MVC Player of the Week on Monday. Falker was named to the all-Tournament Team in the Anaheim Classic after leading the Salukis to a 2-1 record with wins over Chattanooga and Mississippi State.

He scored 21 points with six rebounds in the win against Chattanooga, had a game-high 23 points, including 9-of-10 foul shots in the win against Mississippi State, and had 17 points and 12 rebounds against USC on Sunday in a loss. For the week, he made 25-of-30 free throws (83.3) after shooting 54.3 percent for the season last year from the foul line.

In three games, the senior from St. Louis averaged 20.3 points and 7.7 rebounds while shooting 64.3 percent (18-of-28) from the floor.
