Women's Golf Set to Host 13th-Annual Saluki Invitational

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois University women's golf team will host its 13th-annual Saluki Invitational tournament on Sunday and Monday, Mar. 25-26, at Hickory Ridge Golf Course.
This year's Saluki Invitational will feature eight Missouri Valley Conference teams including SIU, Creighton, Illinois State, Northern Iowa, Bradley, Drake, Evansville and Indiana State.
Other teams competing in this year's Saluki Invitational are Austin Peay, Eastern Illinois, Western Illinois, Eastern Michigan, Rend Lake and Murray State.
Hickory Ridge Public Golf Course is owned by the Carbondale Park District and serves as the home of Saluki women's golf. The course plays 6,065 yards with a par of 72.
Play begins Sunday with a 10 a.m. and continues on Monday at 9 a.m. Both days will begin with shot gun starts.
