Softball announces schedule changes

CARBONDALE, Ill. - As the Southern Illinois University softball team enters the final half of the 2007 season, the Salukis announce a pair of schedule changes.
The first change is the Missouri Valley Conference series opener on Friday, April 6 against Drake. The game was originally scheduled for a 6 p.m. start, but will now move up for a 4 p.m. start time at SIU's Charlotte West Stadium.
The other change involves Southern's Wednesday, April 11 matchup at Middle Tennessee State. Originally scheduled to be a doubleheader, the Salukis and Blue Raiders will now play a single game beginning at 4 p.m. in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
SIU (28-8, 9-2 MVC) will return to action on Tuesday with a doubleheader at neighbor Southeast Missouri State beginning at 3 p.m. in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
